New Beginnings of an Old Veggie Garden. . .

We've got a veggie garden! Thanks to my parents’ efforts, with a little bit of help from us we have managed to knock up a couple of beds. For those who have ventured into the great unknown of our far back yard you'll probably remember nothing but waist high grass. But no longer!

Here is the finished result and somewhere under all that netting is strawberries and lettuces.

A few weeks ago there was free rhubarb plant going, so I took it and popped it in the ground, once I'd found the ground under all that dead grass!

And because I bet you can't even see it in the photo above, here's a closer shot. It has actually grown heaps since! Hopefully soon we'll also have beans and tomatoes growning.
